Music is a universal language that everyone can relate to, understand and enjoy. With many schools now cutting music education programs, private music instruction is more necessary and valuable than ever! The benefits of private music instruction include:

  • one-on-one training that helps the student learn self-discipline
  • building strong self confidence and self-esteem
  • increased musical knowledge
  • improved scholastic achievement - Studies have shown that music can make students smarter!

I encourage my music students to perform with me for local community events such as picnics, parades, retirement centers and Starbucks Coffee. I believe it is important for these young musicians to understand and appreciate that their gift of music is enjoyed the most when it is shared with others.

Senior's Music Class

Activities Directors, would you like to give your residents something special? Give them the gift of music! Let them sing and dance to the music of their generation with the big band hits of Glenn Miller, The Dorsey Borthers, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, and more. Let them reminisce with the song ballads and standards of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter and Johnny Mathis. Honor your veterans with special patriotic music as everyone sings along with pride during special performance concerts.

My general music program emphasizes the fun and easy way of learning all aspects of music through interactive, hands-on group participation.
